Designed by Affinity Architecture and constructed by M-Builds, the project reached full completion in Spring 2024. Joel served as Owner's Representative throughout the development, overseeing the design team, managing contractor progress, providing quality control, and conducting inspections. The North Tower achieved phased occupancy with strong leasing momentum, and the South Tower followed with full occupancy in early 2024.
A landmark mixed-use redevelopment for Norway House Cree Nation at 820 Taylor Avenue in Winnipeg. This multi-phase project combines administrative offices, transitional housing, and community-serving spaces. Joel serves as Owner's Representative and Project Lead, managing all aspects of community stakeholder engagement, consultant coordination, and construction delivery on behalf of the Nation.
A 99-unit luxury rental apartment building at 765 Sterling Lyon Parkway, developed for the Private Pension Partners portfolio. Designed by BLDG Architecture and constructed by Pre-Con Builders Ltd., the project was delivered on schedule and on budget. Joel served as Owner's Representative throughout, managing the design team, overseeing contractor performance, and coordinating tenant onboarding and lease-up.
A 146-unit mid-rise apartment development at 221 Stradbrook Avenue, designed by MMP Architecture and constructed by Akman Construction. Completed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project required exceptional leadership to manage supply chain disruptions, evolving health protocols, and contractor performance while maintaining schedule. This was also the first self-managed P3 building in the Private Pension Partners portfolio, delivered on time and on budget.
A 133-unit luxury rental apartment development at 835 Sterling Lyon Parkway, designed by BLDG Architecture and constructed by PCL Constructors Inc. Joel joined the project in its final stages, managing contractor closeout, deficiency resolution, suite handovers, and the transition to full occupancy. His involvement ensured a smooth delivery and set the asset up for long-term performance.
A critical infrastructure rehabilitation project delivering essential lift station repairs at the Norway House Water Treatment Plant. With zero service interruption as the primary constraint, the project requires precise construction sequencing, remote logistics coordination, and federal funding compliance. Joel serves as Project Manager on behalf of Norway House Cree Nation, ensuring the community's water infrastructure is restored and maintained without disruption to daily operations.
